Mac Cruickshank

Mac joined SCIC in May of 2020, after over 20 years with Alberta’s provincial crop insurance provider AFSC. While in Alberta, he started with the hail insurance program and moved through various programs and roles before ultimately ending up in management for over 10 years. His entire career has been spent in public service for agriculture. Mac has deep background in Business Risk Management programming, including AgriStability and Western Livestock Price Insurance Program. Interesting past projects have included system re-developments, client experience modeling and process improvements. He is very happy to be with SCIC and in Saskatchewan (home to extended family on his mother’s side), bringing his experience from Alberta with him.
