Lorelei Hulston

Vice President of Operations (Acting)

Lorelei holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture with a major in animal science from the University of Saskatchewan. She began with SCIC in 1992 as a research analyst with a focus on supporting the forage insurance programs. In 2008, Lorelei accepted an opportunity as the Provincial Insurance Manager with Agriculture Financial Services managing the delivery of Crop Insurance through the field offices in Alberta.

In 2014, Lorelei returned home to Saskatchewan and to SCIC. Lorelei has had the opportunity to work on several interesting projects over the years, helping to enhance Crop Insurance. She feels very fortunate for the opportunities to gain experience of program delivery in both Saskatchewan and Alberta, enabling her to better serve Saskatchewan agriculture.

Lorelei grew up on a mixed farm near Melville, Saskatchewan. She and her husband Bradley, together with their four children, raised purebred and commercial cattle for many years. They spent many weekends travelling with their children to high school and amateur rodeos and 4-H shows over the years, as well as enjoying family vacations and outdoor activities.
