The Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation (SCIC) is reminding producers the deadline to submit 2012 AgriStability Program forms, without penalty, is September 30, 2013. The final deadline is December 31, 2013.
SCIC provides producers with a number of options for submitting program forms. They can be mailed, faxed or dropped off at any of the 21 Crop Insurance offices across the province. AgConnect, SCIC’s secure online tool, is another option for submitting program forms. To learn more about how to use AgConnect contact the AgriStability Call Centre at 1-866-270-8450.
To ensure timely processing it is important program forms are submitted to the correct location. Individual participants (sole proprietors) need to submit their supplementary information (inventories, receivables, payables, deferrals and purchased inputs) directly to SCIC. An individual’s tax information (income and expenses) must be submitted on the T1163 form to the Canada Revenue Agency in Winnipeg. Individuals can also submit their tax information to SCIC using AgConnect. Corporations and co-operatives are to continue to submit all AgriStability Program forms to SCIC.
